LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Keeneland terminated race starter Scott Jordan this week. He had been in that position since 2019.
ABC 36 News reached out to the track about Jordan’s dismissal.
“We aren’t in a position to respond with details of this situation, but we will say that, in every respect, Keeneland is committed to integrity,” Keeneland president and CEO Shannon Arvin said in a statement.
“They terminated me Wednesday, told me my services were no longer needed,” Jordan told the Bloodhorse.
Jordan remains the starter at Churchill Downs, Ellis Park and Kentucky Downs, according to the Bloodhorse.
