WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Thanks to funding to help with COVID relief, Woodford County Schools is hoping to make things a little easier for families as school starts back.
The school district announced that it will provide several necessary school supplies for all students in kindergarten through 5th grade. This includes crayons, scissors, glue sticks, folders, pencils, erasers, composition notebooks and spiral notebooks.
The free supplies will be available to students on the first day of school.
In a post on its Facebook page, Woodford County Schools said, “We know that our elementary students, especially, need many items throughout the year. We hope this takes some stress off your plate as you prepare your family for the upcoming school year.”
