LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A second victim from a Sunday shooting showed up at a Lexington hospital Monday afternoon.
According to police, the man went to CHI Saint Joseph’s East emergency room at about 3:50 p.m. with a gunshot wound.
The man told police it happened Sunday night in the same area as the shooting in the area of East Sixth Street and Chestnut streets.
Police said the man is cooperating and they think he was an innocent bystander who got caught in the gunfire. His injury is described as non-life-threatening, but police would not give more details.
Police continue to investigate the shooting and no arrests had been made as of 6 p.m. Monday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities in Lexington are looking into a shooting that happened July 18.
According to the Lexington Police Department, dispatch received a shots fired call around 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Units arrived to E Sixth and Chestnut Streets and found a man with a gunshot would. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A passenger car may have been involved with the shooting, but authorities are not sure yet.
