Two hurt as vehicle overturns in crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people were injured late Wednesday afternoon when two vehicles collided, one overturning, on Versailles Road at Van Meter Road, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say it happened around 5:30 p.m.

Police say two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Their names were not released.

The crash caused a temporary traffic backup during rush hour.

The accident is under investigation.
