IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police have arrested and charged a man for the murder of 50-year-old Cindy Donnela Stevens-Roberts in Estill County.
Kentucky State Police says 43-year-old Christopher Roberts of Irvine was arrested Saturday morning.
Investigators say Cindy Stevens-Roberts was found in the middle of Marbleyard Road, Wednesday morning at around 10.
State police say Roberts is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
He is currently being held at the three forks regional detention center in Lee County.

IRVINE, KY. (WTVQ) – A woman found dead in the road Wednesday in Estill County has been identified, but Kentucky State Police aren’t releasing many details.
According to the KSP, as a result of the ongoing investigation, the woman has been identified as 50-year-old Cindy Donnela Stevens-Roberts, of Irvine, Ky.

IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) are conducting a death investigation in Estill County after finding a woman laying in the road Wednesday morning.
According to KSP, Richmond Post received a call about the woman from Estill County 911 around 10 a.m. on July 7.
KSP Troopers and Detectives from Post 7 went to the scene on Marbleyard Road, where they found the deceased woman. Preliminary investigations show that the woman had been fatally injured.
The Estill County Coroner pronounced her deceased at the scene. Her body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort for an autopsy and to be identified.
