ERLANGER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Roger Eric Uhl, 34, has been arrested by the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Electronic Crime Branch on charges related to child sexual abuse material.
The arrest came following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch started the investigation after discovering the suspect communicating with juveniles online.
A search warrant was executed at an Erlanger residence on June 22. Equipment used to commit the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s digital forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Uhl is currently charged with one count of prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor in a sexual offense.
