LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Online kindergarten registration for 2021-22 opens Monday, Jan. 25. A child must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 to start kindergarten this fall in Fayette County Public Schools.

To apply for preschool
Families may apply online for the Fayette County Preschool Program, and the district staff determines if their child is eligible. Note that processing of 2021-22 applications does not begin until late April. Please refer to the preschool webpage for details.
