EKU grad gets new post at Kentucky American Water

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – Steven Nash, an Owensboro native attending Eastern Kentucky University, has been named senior superintendent of operations for Kentucky American Water’s Central and Southern divisions.

Nash will supervise the company’s field operations in Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Harrison, Jackson, Jessamine, Nicholas, Scott, Rockcastle, and Woodford counties and will report to Senior Manager of Operations Justin Sensabaugh.

Nash began his career with Owensboro Municipal Utilities as a water distribution technician and served as an electrical line technician at Davis H. Elliot Company, before joining Kentucky American Water in 2013.

At Kentucky American Water, Nash served as a utility and operations specialist before transitioning to the role of operations supervisor in 2019.

Nash will graduate in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety from Eastern Kentucky University.

Nash was born and raised in Owensboro, Ky., and now resides in Lexington with his wife and young daughter.
