LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington’s small business economic stimulus program is once again accepting applications.
The application process originally opened July 20 and closed July 26 so the initial round of applications could be processed by the Commerce Lexington Loan Access Committee. A total of 157 applications were processed in the initial round.
The program began with $2.5 million to award. Currently, $400,000 is still available.
The program is designed to give small businesses extra support with grants of up to $25,000.
An overall goal is for at least 50% of funds to be granted to businesses owned by women and/or minorities.
