I-75 Diesel spill, semi-truck spills load of energy drinks in Madison County


MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Transportation Department says a semi-truck spilled diesel on I-75 Saturday night.

According to State Police, it happened near mile marker 95 just after 7 p.m.

The semi-truck also spilled its load of energy drinks in the roadway. Right after it happened all lanes were blocked.

Crews were able to get it cleaned up enough to let some traffic through about an hour later, but clean-up was still going on as 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
