Man shot outside Bryan Station Kroger in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man was shot outside the Bryan Station Kroger in Lexington Monday, according to Lexington Police.

Officers say in broad daylight, around 5 p.m, two men got into an argument just outside the Kroger. One man shot the other, jumped into a car, and then the car drove off.

By the time police got to the grocery store, they say the victim and the suspect were gone, but about 20 minutes later, the victim walked into UK Hospital with a gunshot wound.  Investigators say the injuries are not life-threatening.

The shooting happened outside a busy store, but police say no one else was hit or hurt.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, according to officers.
