LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Mt. Olivet Road — Kentucky 3320 — in Henry County ill be closed for 60 days starting April 13 for bridge replacement.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the bridge over Harrods Creek is being replaced as part of statewide bridge improvement program.
The bridge is located just off I-71 near the intersection with Stonebrook Circle.
Motorists can follow signed detours:
— KY 712 (Old Jericho Road) to KY 153 (Lake Jericho Road) to
connect to KY 146 (LaGrange Road);
— KY 146 (LaGrange Road) to KY 153 (Lake Jericho Road) to
connect to KY 712 (Old Jericho Road).
This bridge replacement is part of a multi-project contract awarded to
Louisville Paving and Construction in the amount of $8,594,000. This
project is part of KYTC’s Bridging Kentucky Program, a statewide
initiative to reopen closed bridges and restore structures to remove
weight restrictions that prevent use by school buses, emergency
vehicles, and businesses.
The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
