NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Early Sunday morning Nicholasville police say a man thought he was going to meet a woman from Snapchat, instead he says he was held hostage.

Officers say they saw the car with its lights off and when they pulled the car over they saw part of an AR-15 inside.

Police say 22-year-old Kevin Reed and a juvenile are accused of holding Ashton Clark hostage and robbery.

Upon investigation, officers say Clark told them he was going to meet a girl he met on Snapchat originally, but showed up and found the two men with an AR-15 instead.

Clark also says they demanded money and when he didn’t have any, the two men forced him to try and get money from an ATM, when that didn’t work they continued to drive around and buy things.
