BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Deputies arrested a man in Bell County after they say they found him with three garbage bags worth of marijuana ready to be sold.
The Bell County Sheriff’s Office says on Monday at 2:45 p.m., deputies tried to speak with 43-year-old William Justus Brock, who was standing outside his home on Brock Hollow Road.
Deputies says as they walked toward Brock, he ran away while carrying a jacket. After catching up with him behind the home, deputies say he tired to hide the jacket in the basement door. They say Brock was ordered to show his hands and was arrested.
Deputies say they found three open garbage bags of marijuana behind the jacket ready to be sold. They say they also found methamphetamine in his jacket.
Brock was charged with possession of controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana and evading police on foot, according to deputies.
