Boil Water Advisory issued for some customers in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Officials say a boil water advisory has been issued for Crab Orchard water customers in Lincoln County.

According to officials, the advisory is for customers who live on the east side, including: Spurlin Ln, Cedar St, Chestnut St, Cherry St, Beech St, Ash St, Greenbriar St, Finns Ln. and Holly Ln.

Officials say the advisory is due to a recent waterline break which has the potential to allow contamination to enter the water system. Customers in this area are asked to boil water before drinking or cooking until further notice.
