Church to host singing benefit to help flood victims in Kentucky


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – In the aftermath of dangerous flooding in southeastern Kentucky, a church in Whitley County is hosting a singing benefit to help victims.

Pleasant View United Methodist Church says the event will be on February 29 and will benefit Power Pack Ministries.

The event will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Flooding in the eastern part of the state has caused mudslides, property damage and even emergency declarations.

The Department for Public Health has issued several safety guidelines for Kentuckians to follow in the wake of the severe flooding.
