His mother, Sharee Jackson, remembers her son as a kind, loving, polite young man.

Since his passing, she discovered a “gratefulness list” her son wrote.

Roberts listed that he was grateful for his mother, family, teachers, friends, his hoodies and sleep.

His mother says losing her son destroyed her life.

“It crushed by world. I will never be the same. Ever!” she cried.

In a cruel irony, Roberts was active in an anti-violence program and now he makes up the heartbreaking statistics of innocent victims of gun violence.

His murder remains unsolved.
