The bus was at the capitol hoping to help shape legislation on medical cannabis to make Kentucky the next state to legalize it.

The company who owns the bus, Enlighten, is based out of Bowling Green.

It says several legislators have visited the bus.

“I think it’s been an eye opener for them to kind of see not only are we talking about patients and health and something that is very vital but also very vital industry, the economy,” says Kelly Embry, Enlighten’s sales manager.

A medical cannabis bill is under consideration right now in the legislature.
