Fake texts about military draft circulate around Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Government officials say there have been reports of text messages claiming that a military draft is imminent.

Officials with the Selective Service System say those messages are not being sent by any federal agency and that there is no military draft.

They invite the public to find information on the Selective Service System by visiting their website, following them on Twitter, or by sending them an email.
