Golden Alert issued for missing Georgetown woman

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing woman authorities say has bipolar disorder.

Georgetown Police say 35-year-old Ashley Renee Meadows, of Georgetown, was last heard from on December 24 around 7 p.m. Officers say she was leaving Nashville, Tennessee and was on a bus heading to Louisville.

Police say Meadows was last seen with her blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing jeans, an army shirt and carrying a black purse. She is 5’10”, 130 pounds and has hazel eyes.

Authorities say Meadows is considered to be a danger to herself. They also say she has a medical device implanted in her back.
