Lexington hip-hop artist delivers 2,700 winter coats to those in need


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington hip-hop artist and community activist Devine Carama delivered 2,700 donated coats to those in need, according to a Facebook post.

Carama’s annual drive is called “A Coat to Keep the Cold Away.”  It’s through his non-profit organization, “Believing in Forever.”

Now in its sixth year, Carama’s coat drive has collected and delivered more than 10,000 coats to those who otherwise may not have one to keep them warm in the winter.

Carama thanked his dedicated volunteers for the organization’s continued success.
