Police: Shoplifters steal $5,000+ worth of items from Williamsburg Walmart
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are looking for suspects caught on video stealing more than $5,000 worth of merchandise from a Walmart in Whitley County.
The Williamsburg Police Department says the theft happened at a Walmart Superstore in Williamsburg on Wednesday at 2:22 a.m.
According to police, most of the items stolen were electronics.
In addition to the stolen items, police say the suspects attempted to steal an additional $5,000 worth of merchandise.
According to officers, the suspects were seen leaving in a black Nissan passenger car with Florida license plates.
