Illness forces Paris Independent Schools to close for remainder of the week

PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – Paris Independent Schools says it will close for the rest of the week because of illness.

The district decided to call off school for the rest of the week because so many students, faculty and staff were out sick.

The school closure leads into winter break.

Officials say students will return to school after the holidays on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
