Deputies: Road rage shooting in Scott County


SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Deputies say a driver in Scott County wound up with a bullet hole in his semi truck over a road rage incident.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office released video of the incident it says happened Tuesday morning on I-75 northbound at mile marker 141.

Deputies say the semi truck driver tells them another driver in a truck hauling a trailer got angry that he cut him off in traffic and shot at him.

Investigators say the bullet struck the passenger compartment of the semi truck and was found lodged in the driver’s seat.

No one was injured.

According to deputies, the suspect’s vehicle is a black, Chevy truck that was hauling a trailer and had large stickers of hot-rod style cars on it.
