The college says students in Casey County now join the list of those eligible to receive a full-ride to the school.

In early December, the college announced the ‘Legacy and Legends’ scholarship for students in Scott and Owen counties.

The scholarships would cover the full cost of tuition for four years for any student admitted to the college who graduated from a high school in those counties.

Students must live on campus for four years and will have to pay for room and board, but the college says financial aid and other scholarships are available to help pay for housing.

The college says the scholarship will be handed out every year for the next ten years and each one is worth about $160,000.
