Deputies: Laurel County mother arrested after child found in filthy home

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Laurel County mother is accused of keeping her 7-year-old child in a home filled with trash and bugs.

Laurel County Deputies arrested 38-year-old Candace Siler after going to the home for a welfare check Tuesday night.

Deputies say the child was in the home and there was trash all over and bugs running across the floor.

Siler is facing criminal abuse charges.
