This year’s numbers show not only a 10 percent increase in funds raised, but also an increase in number of people who gave.
The 2019 GoodGiving Challenge featured over $440,000 in matching prizes that increased gifts by as much as 50 to 100 percent.
Since it started in 2011, the GoodGiving Challenge has raised nearly $12 million total for nonprofits. Last year, the challenge raised $1.5 million for 110 local nonprofits through more than 7,500 gifts made.
