Governor-elect Beshear to make requesting government records easier

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Governor-elect Andy Beshear says all executive branch state agencies will accept requests for public records via email under his administration.

Beshear says the move is to make it easier for Kentuckians and the media to interact with the government.

Beshear says the change will be a priority for any remaining agencies to fix as soon as possible once his term begins and that his administration will continue to work to make the process consistent.
