The Salvation Army kicks off Creative Kettle Campaign, voting underway

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Salvation Army has a new way to give back this holiday season.

The Creative Kettle Campaign gives area celebrities, businesses and organizations the opportunity to decorate those iconic red kettles for The Salvation Army, then the public votes on their favorite.

Voting begins Monday, Nov. 25 for the decorated kettles on The Salvation Army’s social media platforms. Just “like” your favorite photo to vote or donate HERE.

The winners are determined by the number of likes and donates. The top five kettles will be revealed at the Fayette Mall on Saturday, Dec. 14th. Voting will continue until Dec. 25.

Funds raised from the Creative Kettle Campaign will benefit The Salvation Army’s emergency shelter, food pantry and clothing bank.
