Sheriffs asking for help finding tractor thief in London


LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating the theft of a farm tractor in London.

The office says during the early morning of November 15, a green colored John Deere tractor was stolen from a barn located off Little Falls Road near 16th Street. It says the tractor has a front end loader and a 10-foot bush hog on the back.

Sheriffs say the suspect caused a lot of damage to the barn and an antique truck in the barn. They say the tractor then traveled eastbound across KY 192 in London where the tractor can be seen on video surveillance at 4:11 a.m.

Deputies say they found the abandoned tractor on Hal Rogers Parkway near North Laurel Middle School at 5:38 AM

London Laurel County Crime Stoppers says it is offering a $4000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) involved in the theft and damage.
