The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says Terry Whitehouse has been arrested.

Authorities say a woman who was kidnapped Thursday by her husband has been located safe in Shelby County.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook Friday that multiple agencies are on the scene in Mt. Eden searching for a wanted person in connection with an open investigation out of Henry County.
“A missing female was located and found to be unharmed,” according to the Facebook post. “This is still an active situation and the search continues.”
Investigators say Melinda Whitehouse and her mother were taken Thursday by Terry Whitehouse. They say he kidnapped them after killing a man police believe is Melinda’s stepfather.
Whitehouse released his mother-in-law Thursday morning, according to authorities.

EMINENCE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities in Henry County are searching for a man they say kidnapped his wife and his mother-in-law after killing a man.
According to WHAS-11 in Louisville, police in Eminence responded to a report of a kidnapping at a home around 6:30 a.m. Thursday and found a man dead from a head trauma.
Police tell WHAS 37-year-old Terry Whitehouse kidnapped his wife, Melinda Kate Whitehouse, and his mother-in-law one day after being released from jail after being arrested for violating the restraining order his wife took out on him.
WHAS-11 says Whitehouse released his mother-in-law but Melinda Kate Whitehouse is still missing.
Terry Whitehouse was last seen driving a white 2001 Chrysler Town & Country with Kentucky license plate 647FPB. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
