LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The University of Kentucky announced on Wednesday that Kentucky native Chris Stapleton will be headlining Kroger Field’s first concert.
Country singer, Chris Stapleton is calling it “A Concert for Kentucky” and it’s benefiting his newly created Outlaws State of Kind Hometown Fund. The fund supports local and national organizations that impact Kentucky and focuses on music and arts education.
Chris Stapleton was born in Lexington and grew up in Johnson County.
The concert at Kroger Field will also include Willie Nelson and Family, Sheryl Crow, and Yola.
Tickets will go on sale next Friday, October 11 at 10 a.m.
The concert will be on April 25.
