Truck driver killed after semi flips into embankment in Taylor County


TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police say a semi truck driver was killed in Taylor County Monday morning after his truck and trailer flipped near Campbellsville.

Police say 68-year-old Donald Sparks of Shepherdsville was driving too fast on Kentucky 70 around 6 a.m. when he lost control and flipped his semi into an embankment.

According to troopers, the road was closed all day, nearly 10 hours, while they investigated.
