Firefighters rescue puppy from drain in Laurel County


LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- East Bernstadt firefighters had a tiny rescue to make Monday night and it meant fitting into a tiny spot.

Firefighters say a puppy crawled into a drain in the Pittsburg community.

The puppy belongs to a little girl and is only about two months old.

The department says it had to send firefighters into the drain to get the puppy out around 6:15 p.m. They were able to pull it out and the pup is safe and back with its owners.
