Accidental gun incident send 15 year old to UK hospital

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says a teen was accidentally shot in the neck early Sunday morning near North Lake Drive.

According to the PCSO, a fifteen year old and her eighteen year old boyfriend were messing around with a gun when it accidentally went off.

A neighbor drove the teenage girl to the Lake Cumberland Hospital where she was flown to UK Hospital her conditions is unknown, according to the Commonwealth Journal.

Her name was not released since she is a minor.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office there is no threat to the community.
