Chief Trade Officer Darren Srebnick spoke about the possible impacts of the on-going trade war and tariffs, saying Kentucky is in good shape with many companies now looking at other sources.

“Aerospace products are definitely number one. You’ve also got automotive, as well, we have chemicals and plastics. We have a variety of goods. In 2018, we’re at 31.7 billion worth of goods,” explained Srebnick.

Srebnick says those are goods and services shipped abroad which is a 2.9% increase from the previous year.

Governor Bevin also shared remarks at the event.
