KSP: Investigation into overdose deaths leads to 5 drug arrests

EWING, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say an investigation into overdoses and overdose deaths in Fleming County has led to the arrest of five people.

Troopers say they were asked to assist in investigating the overdose deaths.

They say one of those deaths led them to execute a search warrant at a home in Ewing.

Five people were taken into custody at the home: 30-year-old Jason Blevins, of Maysville; 35-year-old Crystal Clontz, of Maysville; 30-year-old Codey Monroe, of Augusta; 22-year-old Ashlee Ridner, of Ewing; and 52-year-old Darin Ridner, of Ewing.

All were charged with engaging in organized crime and trafficking in a controlled substance. Each face several additional charges.
