According to the indictment, from the fall of 2017 through spring of 2019, Johnson pretended to be a teenage girl on Snapchat to get underage males to send pictures of their genitals to him.

The indictment says he also sent a video of a female masturbating to the victims. He’s also accused of deleting the Snapchat conversations and the application from his phone to hide evidence.

Johnson is accused of possessing child pornography, distributing obscene matter to a minor, using electronic communication to procure a minor and tampering with physical evidence.

Johnson ran for Madison County District 2 Magistrate in 2018, but lost.

He remains in the Madison County Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
