IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Storm damage was reported Tuesday in Estill, Powell, Clark and other counties, mainly from high winds.
Trees were also reported down along the Mountain Parkway, according to emergency management officials.
Highway 89 in Estill County was temporarily closed after a large tree was blown down across all lanes. The tree was removed and the road reopened around 6:30 p.m., according to Estill County Emergency Management.
Sporadic power outages were also reported from downed lines, according to officials.
