UPDATE: KSP: Two killed in I-64 crash in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky State Police responded to a multiple vehicle collision on Eastbound I-64 Saturday morning near mile marker 53.

Three people were injured during the collision. A man was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.

Two other men were transported to UK Hospital for life-threatening injuries, both dying at the hospital, according to state police.

Fayette County Coroner identified Jamie Raymond and Daniel Raymond as the deceased.

The two were in the same car and were the first to be hit in the domino effect four vehicle crash troopers say.

KSP is seeking assistance on this accident and is asking any potential witnesses or people involved leading up to the fatal collision to call KSP, Post 12 at (502)227-2221.

Reconstruction crews are working to determine the cause of the crash.
