MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Madison County deputy jailer was charged with promoting contraband, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say 25-year-old Christopher Hight reported to work on Tuesday and was searched by his supervisor.
During the search an illegal substance was found and Suboxone strips were found inside tobacco, according to deputies.
Authorities say Hight was charged with promoting contraband, official misconduct, and trafficking in a controlled Substance.
He was lodged in the Clark County Detention Center.
