Suspects wanted in armed robbery near EKU campus

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Early Sunday morning Eastern Kentucky University was on high alert as police looked for two suspects in an armed robbery.

Richmond Police and EKU police said one suspect was seen with a handgun.

Police canvassed the area for the two male suspects, but no arrests were made.

EKU lifted its high alert notification after 30 minutes.
