GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say the human remains found in Garrard County are those of Savannah Spurlock.
Spurlock was a missing mother of four from Richmond, who was last seen in early January leaving a bar with three men in Lexington.
ABC 36 News spoke with neighbors where Spurlock’s remains were found and they were shocked.
“No good ever comes out of this situations. It’s sad,” said Carolyn Craig, neighbor.
Another man, Brett Bryant says he knew the man charged in connection to the case, David Sparks.
He says they went to school together and later worked together.
“I would never thought it from the beginning that it would’ve came to this,” said Brett Bryant.
Family and friends of Spurlock are reacting and hurting.
For months, they’ve been searching for their loved one and wishing she could come home.
“Our sobs of pain and physical anguish are met with moments of our beautiful memories of the vibrant and vivacious person she was,” said Spurlock’s aunt.
Many people have been following the Facebook page, ‘Missing Savannah’.
In a live video, the aunt shared the family would be taking down the page on Saturday so the family can grieve privately.
