PINEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Some vehicles were damaged Wednesday afternoon in downtown Pineville as storms moved through the area, according to officials.
The damage was caused by high winds that brought down trees and power lines.
No injuries were immediately reported.
For the second day in a row, showers and thunderstorms popped-up and moved across Kentucky, especially during the peak heating times of the day. Some of the storms packed high winds, heavy rain and dangerous lightning.
