FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lane closures on northbound I-75 in Fayette County will continue through early July, according to the Transportation Cabinet.
The Cabinet says the temporary closures are needed so crews can mill and resurface the road.
This week, alternating lane closures will be in effect between milepoints 111.95 and 121.12 (the Fayette-Scott County line) from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. every day Sunday, July 7th through Thursday evening, July 11/Friday morning.
The closures will also happen 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 3 to 3 a.m. Thursday, July 4.
The work includes I-64 at the split.
Crews are expected to finish Thursday, August 1st.
