Stunning video shows tornado hitting Kentucky Lake marina


MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- New video shows a tornado hitting Moor’s Resort and Marina in Marshall County on Sunday.

The video shows people gripping onto a Kentucky Lake dock as debris flies around them.

It was an EF-1 tornado, according to the National Weather Service.

Winds reached 100 miles per hour.

Despite the damage, the marina plans to start renting boats again Tuesday.

Everything is open expect for the two docks the tornado hit. The resort’s Fourth of July fireworks show is still scheduled to go on as planned.
