NY man arrested for fatal crash in Taylor County


CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A three-vehicle crash in Taylor County has left a woman dead and a New York man behind bars.

The accident happened Thursday around 4:08 p.m. on KY 55 south in Campbellsville.

Kentucky State Police say 42-year-old Dawn Miles, of Columbia, was stopped in a construction when 34-year-old Fazliddin Bozorov, of Brooklyn, New York, hit her Jeep, causing it to overturn.

Miles’ car was then struck by a truck driven by 60-year-old Jeffrey Hubbard, of New Albany, Indiana.

Miles’ and Hubbard’s vehicles both caught fire, according to police.

Miles was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hubbard and his passenger were not injured.

Police say Bozorov was arrested and charged with reckless homicide, failure to render aid, reckless driving, and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance.
