Coach Poynter says his team deserves to be champions


LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – The Tates Creek Baseball team woke up on Monday morning state baseball champions. Coincidentally, their head coach Larry Poynter played for state title with Tates Creek back in 1990, but the Commodores fell just short of the title.
