PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say two of its troopers were involved in a fatal shooting in Perry County on Tuesday.
The troopers were looking for Christopher Brown, who had several active warrants for his arrest and was possibly driving a stolen vehicle, according to state police.
They say they found Brown in the Daniel Boone Motel parking lot in Hazard.
Brown took off and led the troopers on a chase from Hazard into Vicco.
According to police, Brown hit one of the troopers with his car.
Both troopers fired at Brown’s car, killing him
The names of the troopers have not yet been released.
