LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – After years of delays and setbacks, City Center, formerly known as CentrePointe, is getting ready for business.

Developer Dudley Webb says a Starbucks and a Jeff Ruby Steakhouse will open Monday.

In addition to the Jeff Ruby Steakhouse and Starbucks, the $220 million mixed-use development consists of a Marriott Hotel, Residence Inn, luxury condominiums and an underground parking garage.

The Marriott Hotel and Residence Inn are scheduled to open later this year.

Webb says people will be moving into some of the office space in the next couple of weeks.

The project started in 2008, then named CentrePointe.

It was renamed City Center last year.
